Sorry about no posts but I had technical difficulties.

On Monday I went to apply for a visa and will have it on Thursday and it was very simple and only 1850 BHT or about $56.00 US. You can get it in 24 hours for a little more but I was in no rush.

Just relaxing most of the time and will have to start packing for Hanoi tomorrow. My flight is at 6:30 AM on Friday. Looks like Linh has set up a private overnight boat cruise of Ha long Bay for a small group.

I did meet up with my facebook Friend Nui and had a wonderful time with her yesterday. She just got a job at a spa in Koh Samui and is moving in the morning. (Thursday) So I arrived just in time to see her before she leaves. She has invited me to visit in Samui. So I may be going there too? But I won’t be staying at the spa she will be working at. It looks amazing and way out of my price range. (http://www.kamalaya.com/samui-cleansing-resort.htm) Maybe a cheap place near the beach someplace?

In BKK

(I posted this on Facebook Sunday afternoon)

I’m in BKK. I must say Business class on Thai Airways is Awesome! I feel great even after 18 hours on a plane. Hope I still do in a few hours. :-))

The room I booked last month was not a non-smoking room as I had scheduled and they didn’t have one available. I’m now at a cheap hotel just off Soi 19. It’s a peace of crap but didn’t want to move my bags around looking for another place. The wireless here is really good and I’ll book online today for another place.

Mike's Vietnam Adventure

OK, I’ve never done this kind of thing before but thought I’d give it a try.

I hope to document my trip to Vietnam, Thailand and if the money doesn’t run out Hong Kong.

I land in Bangkok on the 22nd of December and will be there for five days. While there I will get my visa, catch up on some rest and definitely hit the nightlife the city has to offer.

From Bangkok I will head to Hanoi and visit with Linh Nguyen and spend a day at Halong bay Bay. From there it’s on to Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City.

That’s a good start and I hope I can add something every few days. I’ll do my best!
